# How XueDAO begins?

## 🧑🏻‍💻👩🏻‍💻 <mark style="color:orange;">The Journey Began at NTU Fintech Club</mark>

XueDAO was founded by Jennifer and Kevin, who met at the NTU Fintech Club—Jennifer with a business background and Kevin as a developer. They teamed up for hackathons and discovered their shared passion for building. Both were selected and sponsored by their school to attend the PlanB Summer School in Switzerland, where they were deeply impressed by Lugano’s vibrant tech community and decided to bring that same energy back to Taiwan.

With inspiration and invaluable support from BuZhiDAO—especially Jacky Wang, Natalie Feng, and Eason Hu—they set out to create XueDAO: ***a community dedicated to promoting blockchain from a developer’s perspective and fostering real innovation in Web3, beyond just crypto.***

## 🧩 <mark style="color:orange;">Start Building - Recruiting The Team</mark>

We personally interviewed each member, bringing together a group of students who share the same vision, passion, and integrity for building. About half of the members come from top universities with CS or CSIE backgrounds, while others with non-technical backgrounds help run the community, ensuring a diverse and well-rounded team.

## 📝 <mark style="color:orange;">Started with Co-learning Day - the ever-lasting thing we’ve kept doing for years</mark>

The spirit of “co-learning” is at the heart of XueDAO. We encourage students to explore a wide range of topics—whether it’s Ethereum updates, blockchain security, or even quantum computing—based on their own interests. Our sessions have evolved from online to offline, growing from monthly to biweekly gatherings.

What truly sets us apart is that most sessions are led by XueDAO contributors themselves—students sharing their knowledge directly with peers and fostering a genuinely collaborative environment. Occasionally, we also invite professional developers to share their expertise and broaden our perspectives.
